I’m just a girl, born in Dublin, currently living in Edinburgh, attended school in Wales. I’m a freelance writer; I write for ScotsGay Magazine and I’ve also done some [small] work for Afterellen.com. I’m also an Applied Psychology student and at the moment an office temp. I’m twenty-three years old and my main interests lye with writing, pilates, photography, design, computing, Tai Chi, and music. Sexuality labels are something that I both struggle and disagree with, but as the world would see me, I am a gay woman – attached for many years. I’m currently in Edinburgh for a couple more months, then I’m moving back to Belfast to be close to my friends and family. I am a person of spirit but an Atheist, an anarchist with no desire for war, a feminist who wants it both ways and I’m quite likely to be described as pan-sexual; I change my mind everytime I read a new definition. I don’t like labels and I fully admit to struggling with this ‘idea’ of gay/bi or straight. Attraction love and chemistry often, or at least should, surpass gender. Don’t put me in a box, and I won’t put you in one either. I believe that life is entirely what we make it, how we shape it, even if that means things go wrong sometimes. I believe that there is a bigger picture and a deeper sense of reality, I also realise that I could never comprehend such a thing.
